I thought of "I'm Going Back on the Bicycle". So I looked the song up on Mudcat and found it in a thread of lyrics by Tommy Sands. I think "Back on the Road Again" and "Your Daughters and Your Sons" could also qualify as songs of second chances (or new beginnings). How about "If you miss me at the back of the bus?". The "Digital Tradition" transcription of the last verse seems strange. I know it as:
