Well this month there's a lot of optimism flying around here. The one thing the government has got right is the vaccine rollout. It seems that there's good news every day about the efficacy of vaccines too, even in the face of "new variants." Our grim numbers are going down fast, could be faster of course, the one fly in the ointment being the apparent greater transmissibility as nature selects variants with more effective spike proteins.
