According to contributions to his Wikipedia page, Marc Ellington, American/adopted English & Scottish performer from the 60s and 70s, died on 17 February 2021... Not that familiar with his work myself, but a close friend and associate of Richard Thompson, Iain Matthews, Sandy Denny and other in the extended Fairport family. Some more info here:
