my point is that if a country wishes to do the best for the whole nation , they need to ensure that the whole population has the opportunity to be educated, unless the whole population has the opportunity to be educated we will not get the best brains. Anation will not get the best out of its population if university educationis restricted to those who can afford to pay

The bigger the catchment of people allowed to enter university based on academic merit[ rather than abilty to pay, the more the country will benefit
