Subject: 'Pipe openers' - songs to warm up with?
I recently found this British Library recording of Peter Kennedy interviewing Bob Copper;
In it, Bob talks about Claudy Banks as a trusted 'pipe opener' - the song they'd commence a session with in order to get the voice tuned up, the lungs filling freely, the confidence flowing etc (and perhaps also, to coax a wider group into joining in?).
Do you have any 'go-to' songs, for the same purposes?
