Talking of Shirley Collins, the song is on her album No Roses, on which she's accompanied by the Albion Country Band (with plenty of legends in the lineup!). On that album the song is titled Just As The Tide Was A'Flowing. In my ever-so-humble opinion that is the best folk-rock (if you want to call it that) album ever, utterly lovely (I'm biased because I love Shirley). The song is on YouTube, but just buy the bloody album!
