Thread Name: Review: Folksingers on Moratorium Day, Nov 1969
Subject: Folksingers on Moratorium Day, Nov 15, 1969
Last month, I accidentally found a recording of the Vietnam Moratorium Day rally on November 15, 1969. There are a lot of folksingers invited to the rally (by Peter Yarrow) to perform for the protesting crowd that was half a million strong. The event is best known for the crowd singing "Give Peace a Chance" with Pete Seeger yelling "Are you listening, Nixon?"

I've uploaded the music performances from the event to YouTube and here is the playlist: Moratorium Day, November 15, 1969. There were a lot of brilliant speeches at the event, too, but I didn't have the time to upload them.
