Perhaps there is the deepest.... that being the simple need we all share to interact with others, to satisfy our need of company, our need of belonging, our need of sharing, our need to feel that we are contributing ..... holy smokes.... was I at the pub that long ? Think I'll put on some Ricki Lee Jones on the old turntable and turn it up loud enough to drown out my thoughts... perhaps I'll start with the track "Company". It always soothes me when I'm lonely.
