That umbrella I bought two springs ago,
still works nicely.
I had to scrape the wet spongy snow
off the windscreen of the parked car this morning.
At the same time,
the day warmed up enough
that I saw my first
EARTHWORMS on the wet pavement,
the first since everything froze last autumn.   

I always try not to step on the earthworms or squash them.
