"Support" is not terribly important..if you do have a decent anti-virus..etc. I have 2 PCs and a lap top running Win 7, and the only updates they get are occasional 'malware removal aids'. Since I don't go to sites that might have malware, I've had no problems at all.

I personally do not like the attitude on WIN 10 and its desire to 'herd all us sheep' into their desired pens and pastures, no matter how green they say the grass is... :>)

I have a very large collection of freeware programs that won't all be tolerated by WIN 10, so I just hope 7 will last me till...ummm... whatever.
