Yes, that sort of thing, there is more of that though. Note a lot of it comes from North Kerry, Listowel appears to have been at the centre of all that, though not excusively.

I don't know about the Ceolas article linked above, I'd suggest Fintan Vallely's look into all that is wort6yh pursuing, there's some of it in the 'Compendium'. I have seen him do the presentation once or twice and enjoyed that.
