Here's another fragment from the wonderful Marina Russell of Upwey, Dorset, in 1907.

Nick sees it as a diddling up piece, and it may well be all there is to it, but if it rings a bell with anyone that could be useful.

"Ware out, Mother, there's a navvy in the cellar,
And two more looking through the window outside."
"Do you go along, you naughty filthy hussy,
Else I'll put a stick about your back(side)"
