I am typing to you on a computer using 7. I refuse to budge with it if possible.

With my 2nd computer, I voluntarily upgraded to 10. 10 wiped that computer, the side programs, the external drive holding things I can never replace, and through Dropbox some things on this computer. It was a nightmare and I curse Microsoft softly to myself every night before I go to bed.

I am using Avast for antivirus: Avast has saved my computer at times nothing else could. There was this nasty boot virus that got in somehow. Shudder.

And malwarebytes.

Still use CDs. The times I relied on the cloud things happened and lost stuff. I don't care what the big tech guys want us to think; those shinies can be invaluable for backups among other things.
