I don't think Trmp is out of power at all. Far from it. He has established his own eponymic web site and we have yet to see if he will make it a go-to place in the increasingly crazy netiverse.

Meanwhile, if you've been paying attention to the case of Liz Cheney in trying to maintain veracity and a sense of decency in the Republican sphere of 'thought', Trmp has decreed that she be replaced as Republican House leader by a Trmptard Representative, Elise Stefanik. More interesting, in that Trmp as a leader in retirement could be a deep betrayer in that he leads so many so wrong, but if they are so many enought, they re-define what is right, as they have been doing for several years now including a while Trmp term of office. Also interesting, is that Elise Stefanick did not start out as a Trmpist, but as a fairly interesting moderate conservative.

This is not all due to Trmp. This is an accumulation of Zero Sum tactics going back as far as Reagan, but mostly due to the "Gingrich Revolution" sustained by Mitch Mcconnell. The rhetoric has been supplemented by elements of the 'press'.

Just to say, there is a right-wing juggernaut out there. It is a loose but persistent agglomeration of interwoven irrationality that won't dissolve all at once like the dead walkers in the final episode of GOT despite Trmp's likeness to the Night King (apologies to Richard Brake!)
