Jerry, you are starting at the wrong place. If you want to share music, click on "Create a New Thread" at the top left of the Mudcat. When you do, you will be offered eleven common headings, including Tune Add and Lyrics add. Music can be shared as a link, as an abc file or as a sound file, preferably Noteworthy Composer to Joe Offer.

If you are doing something unique, you don't need a heading at all.

I have been posting music, either through links or by sending files to Joe Offer, for years. I also have music in my repertoire which I have obtained here at the Mudcat from others' posts. So if you want, you can follow in my footsteps and share music as well.
