50 years go by
in a blink
Too soon
for a lifetime memorial
too late
for better past choices.

I could give or take a tutorial.
The present is not all I got,
I still have all my past predictions.
I could go float in a sea of memories
that I swear I thought I forgot.

But the next damn thing
is way more exciting.
Its not always true.
But I think we like to lie
to ourself ay least about
the future
