thanks

some spelling corrections
verse 1
mo chride should be mo chridhe (my heart)
gahbail = gabhail

last verse
"do chridhe" (your heart)

I think "monadh" (moor) should be lenited with the prepositon "thar", but I find examples of both "thar mhonadh" ("mh" pronounced like an English "v") and "thar monadh". Perhaps it depends on the speaker and the geographical location (dialect). Thar monadh is indeed the spelling on Christine Primrose's album cover.

Christine Primrose herself is originally from Carlabhagh / Carloway, Lewis. I think she is still living in Skye.

Còisir Ghàidhlig Chàrlabhaigh
has produced a useful video with lyrics subtitled.

as sung by Donald MacRae with some different words, but the last line of each verse is the same and so is the next to last verse in both the Primrose and MacRae renditions.
