I just read an article about Jill Biden participating in some events with Joe (two meetings with the queen and "will Jill be too casual?" questions and a reminder that Michelle Obama put her arm around Liz's shoulders at one point, and got a reciprocal hug around the waist). The nonsense people have to get up to to meet that particular figurehead.

Dr. Biden is also meeting with various groups that support military families, an ongoing interest of hers. She and Prince Harry have been friends for years since she attended the Invictis Games a number of times over the years and they co-sponsored a US/UK walk here; perhaps the two of them are exchanging texts about this trip. :)
