It started snowing in Brunswick, Maine, about 10:00 AM today. It snowed heavily for an hour or so and then slacked off. Currently it is light snow with no discernable wind but the weather radar shows quite a pile on its way. Some people have already left work and others are waiting for the base to close. We all expect to be able to stay home tomorrow. I'll hang in here until closing time.

I have candles, kerosene lamps and hot chocolate. I have no back up heat, though. I am not worried because I am on the same power grid as the local hospital.
