About thirty minutes into the youtube clip from the 1978 Auckland Folk Festival (see earlier comment) the sleeve notes from the LP are usefully displayed. Here's what they say about track 2, The Maritime:

"'The Maritime' is one of the many excellent songs composed by John Beavis and performed by him with assistance from Steve Moffat.

John is originally from Australia and, since the festival, has gone to the U.S.A. where he is reported to be doing well.

Steve has been on the Auckland folk music scene for some time and is a well-liked performer of both traditional and contemporary material."
