My dodgy view is that her experience should have told her to carry on. Most of the examples I've given of the athletes who have got straight back on their horses have been of young people who lacked her experience, and, I dare say, her cynicism. I'm simply asking you to consider the contrast. My home anecdote was just one of many examples I've given. I am unsure of her attitude but I'm glad to give her the benefit.
