First off, I'm glad you're alive after the car accident; not just for us at the 'Cat, of course, but for your, Bretta, and Brendan's sakes. I'm sorry to hear that your mother passed away; she didn't get a chance to hold Brendan, but she knew that all is well with him. And get this straight - you're not the posterboy of doom and tragedy. Now have another of those cookies from your mother-in-law, and practice a scurrulous song or two for your midnight conference with Brendan.
