Today is gorgeous outside, but I have a lot of homework to finish for a course I've been taking.

The flowerbed-a-week plan has started, but until we get some rain here the garden work will include a thorough soak with a sprinkler to loosen the soil. When I watered the newly transplanted lilies I also watered the iris next to them so I'll thin those and pull out the grass and weeds. And while I'm at it, I need to level the birdbath that sits there.
