How can any of this art music have any vague resemblance to any chanty? The 2 genres could not be any more opposite in their form and style, apart from the time differences.

That crap rag The Times actually presented them as a collection of 'shanties'. Sheesh!!!!

I do hope Dr. Chris doesn't use the word 'shanty'. He's going to look remarkably silly if he does.
