The border between Poland and Belarus is firm. The two states are not friendly. Poland is in the EU, Belarus is not and is run by a dictator. There are no agreements between the two regarding free movement between them. The camps you refer to are in Belarus, not the EU, so you are wrong about that. In addition, Lukashenko is not funnelling people "back" to the EU at all (and that is not what I said, by the way). The refugees were never EU residents. Yes, I'm all for getting back to Trump, but let's not get careless with facts. Do take care to choose news sources that are accurate.

What I would say is that there is a humanitarian crisis building, all the work of Lukashenko, but, as with all such crises, it's very difficult to stand on principle when the well-being of thousands of people is threatened. So at the moment I can't quite get my head round what Poland (or the EU) should be doing. What I can get my head round is the fact that Lukashenko will never do the right thing.
