My name is Juliana and I'm a folklore grad student currently working on an essay about the use of the first-person perspective in certain murder ballads for a class on folklore and gender. I'm wondering if anyone who has experience performing these songs (especially "Rose Conley") would be willing to speak with me about it for my paper.
