Adele is on American television for a concert and inter-leaved with snippets of a conversation with Oprah.

The first half was incredibly depressing - I was wondering if my occasional-therapist has an appointment this week, it was that intense with the songs. Thank goodness she lightened up and did a few standards and more uplifting ballads as the evening progressed.

She sounds good, looks good, and seems to be happy. This is as much as anyone can ask for.
