Does you family still have any if the button accordions? Do they play them?
- do you remember the Stewarts of Blair? Hamish Hendeson spent a lot of time with them, recording their songs (Hamish grew up in the area)
- a few years ago I met a Travelling woman who grew up in a bow tent nesr Pitlochry, she told me a fair few stories about her childhood... don't know If I can make contact with her again, but it is quite possible she would have known your family?
