Thanks very much to everyone who helped me out on the tune, especially Alison. I'll send it to my friend, who is the fiddler. Possible other origins are interesting too, there seems to be some confusion as to whether Charlie Daniels wrote the fiddle tune himself or not? Does anyone know for certain??
