Happily, although Berkshire County received snow,
only a little snow fell, and what is more,
it is the dry powdery stuff
which comes off one's parked car at the touch of a brush.
No freezing or scraping or heaving of
what one Weather Channel luminary describes as "white mud".

And it certainly is cold and dark outside. Brrr.
