Yes, Robyn is a lovely singer: I think she comes from Burns country, I.e. Ayrshire.

Another programme I watched on the Friday before Burns Night was on the BBC Scotland (Freeview 9) channel , called Music Vault - a Robert Burns special. This was a bit of a mixed bag, as it featured a number of Scottish singers perhaps better known in the pop/rock world than trad/folk. Some of it I enjoyed, some of it made me cringe!
