It's a pity that Team GB entered the stadium for the opening ceremony with the Union Flag being carried upside down.
The flag may be upside down, or it could just be a poorly designed flag. The picture in The Scotsman appears to show a flag (bottom right corner at least) where there is no difference in the width of the white stripes.
