Today I was reminded of how much the United States teams owe to
first-generation immigrants -- for their PUBLIC/audience.

I heard one of the employees, where I am staying, enthusing about the Manchester City - Liverpool game.
He speaks Spanish and I don't know which country his forebears are from.
But he was speaking his usual good, slightly accented English,
and telling his co-workers that
watching the broadcast was so exciting that he could not go to the bathroom until it was finished.
