It's not just Facebook. Here in UK, when I was working I had a female colleague who tried to send an email to a female friend of hers which contained a line something like "let's meet up and have a bitch about it". The company's (presumably American based) email program didn't like the use of the (in UK) harmless word "bitch". That's globalisation for you.
