Ah Dave, I well remember watching a match at Ibrox between Celtic and Rangers with a football-mad boyfriend in the seventies. We'd been in a pub first (I didn't drink alcohol, but 'boyfriend' was rather tanked up!) I must have been the only woman there, and I was rather amused to see many of the spectators using their empty McEwans beer cans to wee in, then chucking them at the opposing fans! After the match was over (I can't remember who won) there was one hell of a fight outside the stadium between the two sets of supporters.
I adored Glasgow though, and merely found it all great fun.
