Doreen was Jack Elliott's daughter (Pete, Len and John were his sons) Em was Jack Elliott's wife who survived him by a couple of years.
Doreen was one of the first people that I met upon entering the North East folk scene in 1966 and our friendship has lasted to this date. A highly principled lady with forthright, socialist, opinions as well as being a fine singer.
