I do like our village Facebook. It's useful for getting information about local events, problems (eg The whole village had its water cut off when an Anglian Water clown crunched a mains pipe with his digger! And the village BT cables were pinched in the night by copper thieves, causing a total landline outage.)
One can ask if any local workman could do a job such as fix a fence or put in a new electrical socket.
But I suppose the moderators need to be vigilant, as trolls are around on most forums. (That should be 'fora' but I won't let my 'O' Level Latin impinge!)
