Not at all sure of the title.
The story is:
Man stabs someone for sleeping with his wife and drops jacket with bloody knife in pocket.
Victim's brother picks jacket up. Dogs track bloody trail to vic's brother, who knows perfectly well whose jacket it is, but doesn't tell, so he hangs.
Man is sad, he killed two people.
Decades later man (guy who got away with murder) finds out from wife that the reason vic's brother stayed silent is that *he* was the wife's lover, and telling the truth would have hurt her.
