I have done a bit of searching and one quote caught my eye:

Why is Vim such a boring text editor that does not come with games like what Emacs has?

Hmmm. I never play games on my PC, well: wordplay, puns, jokes (discuss!), banter and opinion. But never games. Sort of helps the decision making. And I still have Notepad++ Portable.
