"Windjammers" has a CD with it, and for the Bigler, they used a Lomax recording of Asa M. Trueblood in 1938, Asa worked on her. Says, "I walked her deck". I have not tried to see if that recording is now accessible online thru LoC. Might be worth it, he is no pro but puts a bit more oomph into the song than the clean modern recordings.
