Subject: RE: Broadcasting Folk on BBC
The popular "folk comedians", Mike Harding, Billy Connoley, Jasper Carrot, etc. all had TV shows so I guess they must be on record somewhere. The Spinners had their own TV show. I recall a Granada production of folk from the two brewers pub in Salford. I'm sure there were more in different regions too. OK, not the beeb, but there was plenty material recorded in the 60s and 70s. What has become of that?

I remember going to a live recording of a radio folk show at the Apollo, Manchester, in 69/70 hosted by Wally Whyton. Would that have been on the BBC
