Hi, I came across this old thread while researching Old Cape Cod. I can tell you that Claire Rothrock (now Graham) is most definitely still alive. She was a very young woman when she wrote the music and lyrics (the other two took credit as co-writers but she wrote the song herself). She is currently 94 years old, and I am one of her caregivers. She is a wonderful lady! She still receives royalties for the song.
