Yesterday, a prospective new housemate visited our program meeting.
THis is of course a fellow patient at the clinic,
and someone who has been in treatment longer than I have,
and I've been here over two years.
Well-known and respected within the patient community,
as this person has struggled and overcome many obstacles and issues,
and has been a force for goodwill and kindness.

And we have two empty rooms, and on the weekends in this house,
people go away and the whole place feels like a ghost town.
Which is what I said to the prospective housemate
when I blurted out during the program meeting:
"PLEASE MOVE HERE."

How everybody else laughed and laughed . . .
