I believe that it was Ivana's and 'the Donald's' high profile divorce that first put him under the public lampoon seriously. He cropped up in Garry Trudeaux's Doonesbury and The Simpsons. Ivana showeed up in the movie "First Wives Club" and Trmp the ex showed up in one of the 'Home Alone' sequels.
