ADMIRAL BENBOW     aka   BRAVE BENBOW
The Action of August 1702   was a series of naval engagements during which Admiral John Benbow was hit by chain shot while fighting French ships in the West Indies. As a result of leg wounds received, Benbow later died at Port Royal, Kingston, Jamaica on 4 November 1702.
