Did you know that the oath of any office in Kentucky, from Library Trustee to the Governor, includes a section saying that the oath-taker hasn't fought a duel with deadly weapons in Kentucky or anywhere else nor have they acted in any part of a duel, and that as long as they are a citizen of the State they won't do such things? I suppose a musical duel or a flyting or such would be okay.
