I had a stroke a year ago and didn't know anything about it until 4 weeks after major vascular surgery, when I picked up my guitar and realised, I couldn't remember a single thing about playing. I could not play a single note or chord, let alone any songs from my repertoire and I could not remember any of the music theory I spent two years in college learning. I have managed to relearn a couple of my favourite songs but nowhere near the amount of music I used to have in my head.
It's like someone hit the delete button.
Any tricks anyone knows to help recover this lost data?
