In my opinion, the new right wing's problem with government is that it can, and will, level the playing field if permitted to do so. They don't want public money used to intervene in the nasty, brutish process of separating and disposing of society's losers.

Of course, they believe that they are or should be winners, and that the government should spend its money on them.
