1.Trees in November look sad and bare
Branches are empty , leaves on the ground
Foliage fallen and it carpets the earth
Scattered and drifting without a sound.

2. Life can be hard , our hopes fallen down
Sometime like trees we desolate stand
Forgetting the sap is still in the trunk
Renewing hope by an unseen hand.

3. Life like the branches is complex , we find
Intricate patterned against stormy sky
Branches though silent they reach upward still
Like praying hands to God lifted high.

4. merciful God who created the trees
comfort the hearts of those who weep
give them the grace , to reach out to you
the leaf that falls, to the love most deep.
