THANK YOU LORD FOR SETTING ME FREE

When I fell on my knees at the altar
And I prayed "Lord, have mercy on me"
The mighty hand of God reached down from Heaven
Took my burdens all the way and set me free

Lord, use me some way for Thy glory
Let me walk close beside Thee today
Guide my steps along this pathway I must travel
Keep me humble, precious Lord, this I pray

There have been so many years that I have wasted
So much grief and so much pain I've had to bear
But the Lord looked out ahead and saw the future
And for this He always kept me in His care

Thank you, Lord, for your wonderful mercy
Thank you, Lord, for your grace so full and free
For without you, I know that I am nothing at all
